Salvador de Bahia

Salvador is located on the coasts of the Atlantic Ocean and its coasts alternate with sandy to rocky, where there are many beaches along the coast, including urban beaches as Itapua, Pituba, Artists and Porto da Barra.

The city’s beaches attract both locals and tourists, thanks to the pleasant water temperature. The seafront is characterized by many typical restaurants (beach bar), where they serve fish dishes and various beverages, including beer.

On the beaches you often can find places that serves the Acarajé, a bean fritter fried in palm oil, typical product of the AfroBrazilian cuisine.

The climate is tropical in Salvador, characterized by frequent but brief rainfall; the heat is constant and temperatures are warm in summer and cool in the winter. The temperature record is 37 degrees, the minimum reached 15 degrees.
